Admire Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) from Across the River

Entrance to Wat Arun costs a few baht, but you don’t need to pay to see its stunning silhouette. Stand on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya River (for example, at Tha Tien Pier) at sunset and watch the temple’s golden spires light up. Aim for the golden hour (around sunset) when the sun hits the temple and the reflection on the river is magical.
